Salvage Title Application

  • Did an accident render your vehicle “totaled” by your insurance company? You want to “buy-it” back? Lots of people are doing the same thing. “Buying-back” your vehicle can be quite the process. Depending on the financial circumstances, including the insurance company’s buy-back price, putting your own vehicle back on the road just might make the most sense of all of the options. However, your insurance company may/may not be a great deal of assistance with the process. While this is always an option, this type of transaction isn’t always in the best interest of the insurance company. Therefore, it may be your responsibility to fulfill several of the buy-back requirements. One thing you may be instructed to do is to file for a “Salvage Title”. This is where Cox Automotive can help.

Bring us your Pennsylvania title, and other supporting documentation, and we’ll complete the necessary application(s) for submission to PennDOT. Unfortunately, a Salvage Title Application, cannot be submitted via our Online Processing Services. Therefore, the total PennDOT processing time can take up to 30 days or more.
